Mandi is one of our Certified Veterinary Technicians and our Certified Canine Massage Therapist here at Companion Animal Hospital. Born in Groton, CT, this Navy Brat has moved around quite a bit. Mandi has lived, with her parents and younger brother, in Gulfport, NIS, Orlando, FL, Cuba and finally resided in Central PA.
After graduating from Milton Area High School, Mandi continued her education at Wilson College Where she received a Bachelor degree in Veterinary Medical Technology in 2001 and completed an internship at The Animal Emergency Center, Watsontown, PA. She successfully passed her Veterinary Technician Boards in January 2002. Mandi’s strong interest in massage therapy for animals recently lead her to complete a 30 hour Class offered by Colorado State University, which enabled her to become a Certified Canine Massage Therapist.
Currently Mandi lives in Middleburg with her Husband and their eight cats, Spotty, Squeakers, Lucil, Smokey, Little Man, Trouble, Sparky and Fluffy. When she is not at Companion Animal Hospital, Mandi enjoys gardening, traveling to Clearwater Beach, FL, helping her husband with their mowing business, and being part of the pit crew for her husband who races at Selinsgrove Speedway.
Mandi’s biggest passion in life, caring for and spending time with animals, is obvious with the care that she gives both animals here at work, as well as her pets at home.
